Traditional 350°F Cure Silicone Mold Rubbers
4X Gold™ Silicone Mold Rubber Introduced in 1994, was the first true high strength silicone developed for jewelers. Emulated by many in the ensuing years, 4X Gold chemistry still provides the most desirable combination of properties available today. This is our softest silicone formula.
4X Quick Cure™ Silicone Mold Rubber is the very first rapid curing silicone. Introduced in 2001, it is a medium hardness rubber. Cured in half the traditional time at 7 minutes per 1/4 inch of thickness, it also provides very high tear strength and nice flexibility. This is the best 'all purpose silicone rubber' available.
4X Blue™ Silicone Mold Rubber is our stiffest silicone rubber. Provides a firm mold for large pattern molds as well as all powder separation applications. Our 4X Blue silicone was designed for large belt buckles, broaches, and charms but can be used in just about any application. Has very high tear strength and works well for direct low melt alloy casting.
Low Temperature Cure Silicones
4X ZeroShrink™ Silicone Mold Rubber is the only zero shrink heat cure mold rubber of any kind available today. This rubber provides results normally only seen from a metal mold. Mold makers will appreciate all of the qualities of this Award Winning rubber (2007 MJSA innovation award). It works well with all mold making applications especially those that require exact replication.
LSTL-160™ Silicone Mold Rubber introduced in 2003 is the very first high speed cure capable mold rubber. A 1/2 inch mold cures in only ten minutes at 250°F. Also designed for curing at 160°F, it neatly copies carved waxes as well as most RP resin patterns. LSLT-160™ is also well known as the "metal mold rubber" for it's ability to provide extremely crisp detail usually only seen in metal molds.
